Business Administrator

Pearce Durick PLLC is seeking an experienced, highly-motivated business management professional to join our team in Bismarck, North Dakota

Summary of Position

The Business Administrator is responsible for the coordination and administration of the day to day operational activities of a highly-functioning law office.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the position include working in close collaboration with the firm’s Managing Members in the day to day operational activities of the law office, as well as effectively supervising and working with existing support staff. The Business Administrator will, in part, administer and assist with all aspects regarding client accounts and billing, purchase and expense management, regular financial reporting, records and database management, budget development and monitoring, human resource matters, practices and procedures, and technology matters, including the firm’s online presence. The Business Administrator will assist with the implementation of the firm’s professional and business strategic goals.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field is required. An advanced degree is preferred. Successful candidate must possess the highest level of personal and professional integrity demonstrated through at least five years of proven professional business management and human resource management experience, including proven ability to effectively supervise multiple personnel in a professional office setting. Law firm experience preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will have a collaborative mindset, and acute attention to detail, strong analytical, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. The successful candidate will possess excellent time management and organizational skills and demonstrate competency and ability to work with a variety of tech systems and software.
