Andrew focuses his practice on commercial and business litigation, administrative law, and civil litigation. As a trial lawyer, Andrew participates in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery and depositions, participating in mediations, and trying cases in state and federal court.
In addition to his legal practice, Andrew serves as a lobbyist at the North Dakota Legislative Assembly and leads the firm’s Government Relations Practice. As a lobbyist, Andrew helps companies, associations, and non-profits pursue their legislative interests and goals by providing legislative lobbying, policy development, political messaging, and representation before the state’s administrative, regulatory, and legislative bodies.
Andrew graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law and served as the Outside Articles Editor for the North Dakota Law Review. In addition to participating in the law school’s internal moot court competition and many student organizations, he was selected as a legislative intern for the Senate Agriculture and Industry, Business, and Labor Committees. After law school, he served as law clerk to Justice Dale V. Sandstrom of the North Dakota Supreme Court.
Currently, Andrew serves as the North Dakota’s Young Lawyers Division Delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates, the Young Lawyers Section Representative to the State Bar Association of North Dakota Board of Governors, and as a board member of a local non-profit. He is a proud native of Devils Lake, North Dakota.
